We have been retained by a global healthcare provider to search for a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst in Arnhem or Kleve.

Responsibilities

As a manufacturer of medical products, they import many items from 3rd country production facilities to our European central warehouse in Kleve. You will support with your expertise in customs tariff classification and operational processes.

 

  • You will be responsible for the final HTS classification in the EU customs tariff and for applying for new BTI and for the continuous follow-up of existing BTI.
  • You will also be responsible for assigning the correct customs goods description for the tariffed goods as well as updating and creating SOPs in connection with HTS classification and customs goods descriptions.
  • You are our first point of contact for the EU customs authorities and lead escalation discussions.
  • You maintain an overview of the current EU embargo regulations and can classify imported goods accordingly.
 

 

Your profile

 

  • In-depth knowledge of EU customs legislation
  • You have already worked for at least 5 years in the field of customs and foreign trade, including HTS tariff classification and experience with BTI applications.
  • Analyses of KPI’s and customs import- & export data
  • You already have experience in the preparation of customs goods descriptions and in the field of import & export control with a focus on: EU-RU Embargo Regulation(s).
  • You have already processed customs declarations (import and export), ideally via AEB.
  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Languages: German, English and preferably a 3rd EU language
