Munich | Hybrid | €60,000–€70,000 + Holiday Pay + Commission + Performance Bonus
Expand your career while helping to shape a growing German business.
Are you looking for a role where you can combine your experience in Forschungszulage with client advisory and relationship management, while having a real opportunity to take your career to the next level?
This is an opportunity to join an established international innovation incentives consultancy at an exciting stage of growth in Germany. With more than 20 years of experience, the business supports innovative companies in accessing R&D tax incentives and funding programmes across a wide range of industries.
Based in Munich, you will work closely with innovative businesses, develop long-term client relationships and play an active role in growing the German operation.
The business places a strong emphasis on trust, responsibility and individual ownership. With the German team still developing, your contribution will be visible, giving you the opportunity to help shape how the business grows and, in turn, how your own long-term career develops.
The Role
This is a broad, client-facing position combining consulting, relationship management and operational responsibility.
You will:
- Lead introductory discussions with prospective clients, identifying opportunities to support businesses through the Forschungszulage and other relevant funding programmes.
- Prepare and deliver Forschungszulage claims, carrying out the technical consulting work required to assess R&D activities and compile high-quality claim documentation.
- Follow up on qualified leads and proactively identify business opportunities.
The client base primarily consists of medium to large organisations, giving you exposure to a broad range of innovative products, projects and industries.
What You Bring
- At least two years' experience with the Forschungszulage or related German funding programmes.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience leading client meetings and managing commercial conversations.
What You Can Expect
- €60,000–€70,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus commission and performance-based bonus.
- Hybrid working from the Munich office.
- 27 days' annual leave plus public holidays.
- Holiday pay and travel expenses.
- A high degree of autonomy, responsibility and trust in your day-to-day work.
If you are looking to move away from a role where your responsibilities feel limited and your progression has started to plateau, this is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued development of a German business while taking your own career to the next level.
