Leonid Group is privileged to be retained by a leading real estate company to hire a Director of Operations based in New York. 

Role Overview 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Operations is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of property management operations across a diversified real estate portfolio. This role ensures operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and alignment with the company’s strategic and financial objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee day-to-day property management operations across the portfolio, including residential and/or commercial assets. 

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize performance and efficiency. 

  • Manage property managers and third-party vendors, ensuring service quality and cost control. 

  • Partner with Asset Management, Finance, and Leasing teams to support financial performance and business plans. 

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting for the portfolio. 

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. 

Key Requirements 

  • 10+ years of experience in real estate operations or property management, with multi-property oversight. 

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and external service providers. 

  • Strong operational, financial, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience working closely with senior leadership in fast-paced environments. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred. 

  • Localize language further for US vs. EU markets.
