This senior leadership position offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive sustainability, ESG, and corporate responsibility strategy across North America for an iconic portfolio of internationally recognised brands.
The Role:
As Director of Sustainability & Responsibility, you will lead and advance corporate sustainability strategy and execution across the organisation, championing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities that align with long-term business goals. You will be instrumental in transforming strategic vision into measurable programmes and outcomes.
• Lead Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programmes, including compliance, reporting, and data governance.
• Develop and implement sustainability and ESG strategies across business functions.
• Design and manage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
• Drive change management and embed sustainable practices across the organisation.
• Build strategic internal and external partnerships.
• Collaborate with Finance and Public Affairs on regulatory and policy alignment.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
The Candidate:
You are a strategic, purpose-driven leader with experience building and operationalising sustainability and ESG programmes within complex organisations. You thrive in cross-functional environments and excel at stakeholder engagement.
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or similar.
· 10+ years’ experience in sustainability, ESG, or CSR leadership roles.
· Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
· Experience with ESG frameworks, reporting, and impact measurement.
· Strong communication and influencing skills.
