Our client, a leading tech company in Berlin, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior IT Auditor with 3-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will support the evaluation and improvement of IT systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and contributing to data security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing IT audits, including risk assessments and control evaluations.
Evaluate IT processes, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to enhance security and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support audit processes.
Document findings and prepare audit reports, presenting results to management.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in IT auditing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or risk management.
Knowledge of auditing standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST).
Familiarity with IT controls, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity practices.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP are a plus.
Experience with audit tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in German and English.
