R&D Tax Consultant

You will work closely with a portfolio of innovative clients, delivering high-quality advice and supporting them in accessing valuable R&D incentives. The role offers a blend of technical delivery, client interaction, and the opportunity to deepen your sector expertise.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the preparation and delivery of R&D tax claims, with a strong focus on oil and gas clients
- Working closely with engineers, technical specialists, and finance teams to identify qualifying activities
- Translating complex technical projects into robust, compliant R&D tax claims
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the claim process
- Supporting HMRC enquiries and ensuring high standards of compliance
- Contributing to the development of internal processes and technical knowledge within the team
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in R&D Tax, ideally with exposure to oil and gas projects
- Strong understanding of qualifying R&D activities within engineering-heavy environments
- Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and financial stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and compliance
