<p class="MsoNormal">ESAB, an international manufacturing business, approached Leonid in 2021 to help build out its global trade compliance team. They were looking for a trusted partner which understood the trade compliance landscape and which could deliver effectively across multiple geographies.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Leonid&rsquo;s first brief with ESAB was to fill three senior roles simultaneously, across three countries: the US, Germany and The Netherlands.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>We were also enlisted to recruit two positions which were highly technical and required a data analytics background, in addition to solid trade compliance experience.</p>

In addition to entrusting us with a range of roles to recruit, Weatherford sought our advice, as it switched up its hiring strategy to respond to rapid changes in the market.</p>

As such, they&nbsp;wanted a recruitment partner who could really act as a true partner and add value to their hiring strategy.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Export control is an area of trade compliance where skills are in high demand and the availability of qualified candidates is relatively low.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Life science companies operate in a highly regulated, complex compliance environment across many geographies that are subject to strict trade and financial sanctions.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>So, finding someone with the right skills and experience was a challenge we relished.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Agilent chose to work with Leonid based on our knowledge and understanding of compliance and specifically the export controls space. Although the role was based in Germany, this was no barrier to recruitment as we were able to draw upon an extensive international network to source the best possible candidates for this role.</p>
